In March 2025, the Ningbo International Stationery Fair opened as scheduled at the Ningbo International Conference and Exhibition Center. As one of the most influential stationery events in the Asia‑Pacific region, this year‘s fair gathered over 1,200 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions, attracting over 40,000 professional visitors.
KSHOW did not set up a booth. Instead, we sent a small team of eight – led by our company owner and including key sales managers and technical staff – to walk the floor as learners and partners. Over three days, we studied products, discussed technology, observed customers, and gained a much clearer view of the opportunities waiting for KSHOW in the stationery mold segment.
Before departure, our owner gave a simple instruction: “First, watch, ask, and take notes. Second, pay special attention to the booths of the stationery companies we work with.”
So eight of us – sales, technical, and marketing – each packed a backpack with notebooks and business cards, and walked into the lively exhibition halls. No booth setup stress, no fixed reception duty. Our only KPI was to learn and to see the way forward.
On the second day, we visited the booth of a long‑term partner – a major stationery manufacturer that produces high‑quality gel pens and creative stationery. The multi‑cavity molds for their pen barrels, caps, and clips are all supplied by KSHOW.From a distance, we could already see a thick crowd surrounding their booth. International buyers, brand representatives, and distributors were picking up samples, asking about lead times, and exchanging cards. The booth staff were fully occupied.
Our eight people stood at the edge of the crowd, quietly watching. Our owner turned to us with a smile: “You see? Their products are so popular – and our molds are the silent heroes behind that success.”
There was no applause, no trophy. But each of us felt a deep sense of pride. We are not just a mold factory; we are an invisible pillar supporting our customers‘ achievements.
Beyond visiting our partners, the team split up and covered every corner of the exhibition – from the pen hall to creative stationery zones, from automation equipment areas to new material showcases. We absorbed information like sponges.
We even spent an afternoon studying how the busiest booths designed their traffic flow, displayed products, and engaged with visitors. These “soft skills” are just as valuable for KSHOW to improve our own service experience in the future.
At the end of each day, our team gathered to share observations and notes. One common theme stood out: the stationery industry‘s requirements for molds are quietly evolving.
KSHOW has already been building technical capabilities in these areas. But seeing them mature in the real market confirmed that we are on the right path.
When the fair ended, our eight backpacks were stuffed with brochures, samples, and business cards. But we brought back something even more valuable:
On the high‑speed train back, our owner gathered the team and said a few words: “We didn‘t have a booth this time, but we gained more than if we had. Because we came with our eyes and our minds. When we get back, each of you write a summary – list the trends you saw, the ideas you have. KSHOW must not only keep up with our customers’ pace but help them move faster and steadier.”
The Ningbo Stationery Fair is over, but KSHOW‘s learning and evolution never stop. Next, we may appear at DMC or visit more customers’ factories. We firmly believe that molds are the mother of industry, and a good mold company should always stay one step ahead of customer needs.
Thank you to everyone who talked with us at the fair. And thank you to our partners – your outstanding performance gave us confidence. KSHOW will continue to deepen our focus on stationery molds, supporting every great pen and every creative stationery product with higher precision, reliable delivery, and attentive service.
